The client is used to sync program data such as password files on the Nextcloud server. I have now noticed that it can take conciderable time perform the initial syncing activity. If you start the password program, while the syncing is still being done, errors will occur becouse files get locked and cannot be overwritten by the client. Also I have noticed that a copy file is created and updates from an onther computer are updated.
I can understand this requires time. Would it be possible for the Windows client to show a message “Please wait while the data on your computer is updated” With come waiting or progress indicator? I would love this.
It is also possible to take down the Windows computer while syncing is not finished. Holding of the computer from shutdown until syncing is done would be nice.
