Will "Apps missing updates" stop working if I upgrade Nextcloud?

I’m running Nextcloud 15.0.7 and I’d like to upgrade to 16.0.1. Below the message to upgrade, the text reads “1 app has no update for this version available”. The offending app is called “Unix user backend”, but I’m hoping for an answer that applies to all apps (this has happened in the past, with different apps).

If I upgrade anyway, will this app be disabled after installation?

Edit: For those wondering, “Unix user backend” works fine in 16.0.1.

Yes it will be disabled. You can always enable it again as an untested app after the upgrade. If you do make sure that you have a path back with proper backups.
