Why updates stops working prety much basic functionalities like with click on image to view that image???
Why I can not edit/view md/txt files in the nextcloud??
All I was done was update!!!
What did you update, just the app, all Nextcloud, between which versions? Anything in the log files?

I updated whole nextcloud to latest stable version. I did that again in between but there is stil no that functionality. I can not open bigger image by dual click, also can’t view viedeos. Can’t edit md files, which was enabled by default.
You used the web updater app? Or via command line?
You still didn’t let us know which versions you used, and if there are errors in the log files.

Version is 29.0.3. And I updated to 29.0.4 but still does not working.
I update via web uppdater app.
It does not say anything in logs. There was SE-linux write permissions, and firewald denied logs, but i disabled those two services temporarily, but problem still persists. Images are not open to view but for download with single or double click.
