There is an app called Can i update? that will tell you whether or not all your installed apps are ready for the next major release.

The functionality of the “caniupdate” app has been merged into the update notifications app for Nextcloud 14. You can savely uninstall and delete the “caniupdate” app, because it does not do anything anymore.
I changed the rows in the file info.xml in the app folder Passman/appinfo
from
owncloud min-version=“9” max-version=“11”
nextcloud min-version=“9” max-version=“13”
to
owncloud min-version=“9” max-version=“12”
nextcloud min-version=“9” max-version=“14”
And now Passman seams to work just fine in NC 14
Nextant is missing some love too.
I used FTS successfully in 14, didn’t check verions. I did however verify that it works after the update.
Do I have to clean up the DB from nextant, or is fultextsearch using the entries from nextant?
You can remove Solr and the Nextant app, then install Elasticsearch and the FullTextSearch app
and what is with the already indexed stuff in the database?
no data were stored in the database with Nextant. You can remove Solr and its index, and start your installation of FullTextSearch from Scratch
i read that as well times ago and got misled…
or app-dev of caniupdate made a change to it.
as a matter of fact it still runs perfectly in nc 13 and shows exactly which apps aren’t ready, yet.
Quite a few still:
Edit: Removed the apps now working with NC14. A few are still left.
