So I have set up a ubuntu 20.04 server. I am planning to install my NextCloud instance on it and back it up to a Synology NAS. I am wanting to do file sharing, photo and video sharing, document collaboration, and video chatting. So the question is would my server on a 150mps internet line be fast enough to do this. I am trying to avoid using an outside cloud.
Hi @Michael_Beck it can be enough to do this but it depends on the number of people using the server at the same time.
It Will work for most private use cases.
It should be fine. I run mine with a little bit less than that.
