I’m trying to setup a webdav connection with an app on my phone to sync my photos.
In the documentation it says “In the following examples, you must use an app-password for login, which you can generate in your security settings.”. But I can’t figure out where to create a app-password.
Sorry if it’s a dumb question. I’m pretty new to this.

Hello and welcome to the community support forum 
In the Nextcloud Web UI go to your account settings (click on the avatar in the top right and choose Personal settings).
Choose Security in the left sidebar and scroll to the very bottom.
There you can create an app password (which can be revoked in the future if you want without changing your actual user password).
