when trying to get to files it just keeps refreshing

  • When did this problem seem to first start 16th June was when it was first reported
  • Installation method not sure
  • Are you using Cloudflare, mod_security, or similar? ( No)

I have tried to upgrade but get error

  • Check for expected files

The following extra files have been found:

  • default.php
  • index-backup.html
  • douzxnwkin.php

Beyond that is is challenging to be helpful as you ignored the rest of the support template, covering topics such as the browser inspector logs/etc.

Thanks for your response. I have little experience with next cloud and struggled to answer all of the questions.

I have searched but I am still struggling to find a fix for this

The short answer is those listed files aren’t part of Nextcloud but are located in your Nextcloud installation folder. Nextcloud won’t update until you remove those files.

You can move them somewhere else, delete them, etc.

I suggest a backup first, but hopefully you’re doing that anyhow. :slight_smile:
