Steps to replicate it:

  1. Mount SMB Shared
  2. Navigate In this SMB Shared
  3. Sometime, i’m forward to the root

The output of your Nextcloud log in Admin > Logging:

Hi @Jason-linux:

  • What is your SMB share hosted on? i.e. what is your SMB server? Do its logs have any clues?
  • Is the problem reproducible on the same file or folder? It’s going to be very challenging track down the cause without some way to reproduce the issue.
  • When sharing the log, make sure to always include the full log entry since the stack trace is necessary if you want someone to see what’s going on in the code and possibly figure out the cause. Use “Copy Raw” if looking under Admin->Logging to get the full entry or grab it directly from nextcloud.log.
