Operating system and version Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS:

The issue you are facing:
When starting my firefox and trying to login to my nextcloud web session the login screen gets cleared w/o and message and comes back with empty user/pw fields.
The only chance I currently have is doing a password reset using the same password and then I can login successfully. But this is only working within the same firefox tab I have done the password reset. Doing a logout and trying to login in a new tab has the same result w/o success.
This is obviously only a problem in firefox
