Varnish configuration setting in proxy or .hsaccess?

Goodday and sorry in advance if I am asking something obvious, but I am wondering if I should modify the .hsaccess file and insert this condition:

RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=on [NC]
RewriteCond %{HTTP:X-Forwarded-Proto} !https

to get rid of the redirect error (https://www.vanderlootjes.nl/NextCloud/index.php/login?redirect_url=/NextCloud/index.php/apps/files/) after enabeling varnish

Perhaps it should rather go in an environment setting?

I am new to all this (well that is obvious at least) and have searched this forum before asking but could not find anything related to varnish

Weird eh my frienvd, but I must hand it to ya that ya found out what was wrong with it being using thT nifty utility eh say no more mate( been thsre etc.) Anyhoo glad ya found thl culprit eh…
