Variables for external storage

Hi everyone,

I am using Nextcloud with external storage and connected it with our local fileserver. I connect the users their home directory and i am using the $user variable so that i dont need a config for every single person. But i need a config for every department, and there are lots of them.

Now the question: Is it possible to use any other variables for external storage? I mapped the department variable of active directory to the second User Display Name, so it would be perfect if I could use this as variable.

If you are using LDAP / AD Integration, there is a “$home” Placeholder Field setting. I think you may use that for department you after.
