Not a bug, just a request for more info on whether the Photos app is good for what I’m trying to achieve.
I have a couple of different websites, a discussion board and a wiki as well as Nextcloud on my server and I want to save space by sharing all the media from one place rather than having multiple uploads of photos, PDFs or videos. It looks like I can do this technically using the Photos app and sharing.
For example, I have a couple of hundred creative commons images for use in blog posts on wordpress. So instead of uploading their own image to wordpress, the post author can link to one of the shared images, where the URL like this:
cloud.ecocounts.community/remote.php/dav/photospublic/PR9OT5UOIbJZ5bOEY08mWRlfPnc4Ow1p/6590-wind-turbine-power-wake.jpg
I have publicly shared the album so that visitors’ browsers will have no problem accessing the shared images.
Is this the best approach to setting up a shared image library?
