Using NextCloud-Calender in Google

Hi,
I’m using a Nextcloud-calendar that I shared to a user group. The members of the user group want to integrate the calendars into their calendar apps (Apple calendar, Google calendar etc.). I’m facing two problems:

  1. It seems that only as the creator of the calendar have access to the private link I need to integrate the calendar into my third-party-app. Is that correct?

  2. When I integrate the calendar (via private link) into my Google calendar, I’m not asked for my username/password, so that there will be no appointments. Is it because Google isn’t able to use CalDav?

Nextcloud Hub 8 (29.0.5)
Calendar 4.7.16

Thanks!

Afaik, Google can only act as CalDAV server, not as a CalDAV client, unless that has changed in the meantime: Syncing CalDav calendar to Google (FROM CalDav TO Google) - Google Calendar Community
