Uploading downloading large video files (3.5GB each)

NextcloudPi outfitted on a Raspberry Pi 3B+ and 2TB SSD.

Issue: uploading wedding videos can be done one at a time, sometimes two. Not sure what exactly is limiting the uploads. Would be nice to be able to upload a directory with 20 GB in one shot.

What do I need to understand in order to avoid having to upload the videos one at a time? Uploading from latest Safari browser if that makes any difference.
