Updating ncp docker container

I’m currently trying to update my ncp Docker container. When reading the posts in https://help.nextcloud.com/t/how-to-update-ncp-docker/123631https://help.nextcloud.com/t/how-to-update-ncp-docker/123631
it is recommended to just use

but when I try to do that, I get a warning saying:

WARNING: Docker images should be updated by replacing the container from the latest docker image (refer to the documentation for instructions: https://docs.nextcloudpi.com). If you are sure that you know what you are doing, you can still execute the update script by running it like this:

I don’t want to beak anything and did not find an update guide in the documentation. Should I just allow the update script?

just hold on a sec there, we work on a more clear documentation on that.

But as i don’t want to say anything wrong until I get the green light on the draft I wrote, I don’t want to answer this yet.
Maybe someone else can answer this, otherwise, I will post the link to the updated docs here once it’s finalized. (Should be within the next few days.)

The warning is actually correct. Please update the NCP docker container, by replacing the image with the latest one.

Make sure to have update Nextcloud beforehand using the WEB UI (select “0” as version to update the latest supported NC version).

There are currently some issues when the installed NC version is too old for the new NCP docker image.
This can be avoided by updating NC first. The next release of NCP will address that.
