Hi,

we got a failure with the update 28.0.7 to 28.0.8 (Ubuntu 20.04 LTS):

Check for expected files failed. Extra Files have beend found:
.gnupg

What can we do?

It seems that your Nextcloud root folder has been set as home directory of your web server user (wwwrun, ww-data, etc.), because that is the only reason why dot-files might be placed in that directory.
I would recommed to change the home directory of the web server user and then move the file to the newly set home directory (or delete it).

Our Nextcloud root folder isn’t the home directory of our web server user.

We are using Snappymail. Why snappymail put the directory “.gnupg” to /var/www/html/nextcoud-directory is strange.

Which directories are searched with this option:
