Update 13.0.6 to 14.0.3 stuck at “delete old files”

Hi everybody,

I am fairly new to nextcloud (and any server work), so please excuse any naivety. I recently setup nextcloud using a webhoster.

I tried to update from version 13.0.6. to 14.0.3. but the update process got stuck at step 9 “deleteOldFiles”.

My problem seems to be very similar to this issue.

Nextcloud version: 13.0.6. to 14.0.3
Apache or nginx version: 2.4.35 (Webhoster)
PHP version :7.0

The output of your Apache/nginx/system log in /var/log/____ : I couldn’t find the file.

Hi,

First of all: don’t paste any passwords and secrets from your config publicly!! People might use it to attack your server.
Right now, you actually should change the values in your config.
Please replace the values with **** or something like that asap.

I followed the manual upgrade instructions and managed to install nc14.0.3.

I guess this is a solution to the problem.
