Unwanted notification to set full name on every startup

I have Nextcloud (latest stable) installed and every time i start my PC I get a notification saying “Add your profile information! Set a full name for easier recog” (it cuts off there).

I already have my “full name” field set on the nextcloud server. Why is this still showing up? and how can I get rid of it? I don’t want to disable notifications entirely, but I can’t find any other options for configuring this.

I assume you’re referring to a notification in the Desktop client?

You didn’t give any version info, but:

  • to the right there should be an indication of whether it’s a new notification or an older one. Is it a new one each time or just an old one that needs acknowledgement?
  • If you log into the Web UI can you acknowledge/close the notification?
