This has been a long outstanding issue… still not resolved… still almost impossible to have the system tray icon showing green tick

Checkout the bug tracker. But the development of the desktop client is not very active at the moment. I see as well a few problems, for me it’s just a few conflict files that can pop up for no reason (even files I haven’t touched in a long time). They are also looking to hire more people to work on the client.
Sometimes I see those errors which were caused by a corrupted .sync…db. I fixed this by stopping sync client and deleting the hidden .sync…db in the sync directory. After this the client has to rediscover all data. This can may take a long time depending on your set of data.
