uploading works OK (I find the file in the server directory) but thunderbird displays a popup saying
Unable to upload filename.zip to https://nc..com
and the link is not created in the email body.
any suggestions ?

Same issue here. The file appears in the upload folder even, but the error is shown.
Same here. Files get uploaded but I receive an error message “An unknown error occurred when communicating with myprovider”.
Development has stopped nearly. A few month ago, a bounty helped to push filelink compartiblity to TB 60 (See Any chance to get this plugin under develpment again?).
Ah didn’t know that. It’s pity.

If I had the ressources I would create a fork of filelink. I have many ideas!
