Since it is possible to download the current stable Version of passwords (2026.9.20) via wget, there is no problem with the Server.
You shall deliver more detailed infos about your problem.
I’m using nextcloud hosted by IONOS
So you are using a managed Cloud and dont have root access to it.
I would say: get in touch with the Ionos customer support team.

thank you for your answer, but I was switching from my private to a manged cloud, because I only want to use it and not to take care about version of LINUX, PHP and so on.
And taking a look to APPS within my cloud, there is a point to download and install this APP.
Means, should be available without connecting via SSH (I’m able to do this) and do it the manual way.
Means, I want to use it and IONOS will do the rest

Does it work, if you use a private / inkognito browser tab? Do you see some errors in the Browser DevTools Console?
Yes, it was working yesterday after the 3rd try … I’ll take a look to the error logs later today - good idea - thank you!
Using the passwords page tells me now, that I’m using an old version of the APP and I should do a download …
Because I don’t want to install it in an manual way, I’ve opened a ticket at IONOS yesterday.
I think I’ll get an answer on Monday, because it’s a public holiday today
