Not having any issues with NC or Ubuntu - but it’s time to move from 18.04 to the latest release of Ubuntu and NC. Updating NC is pretty simple and easy, as is really Ubuntu. But the last time I did this, the whole system got borked. And I’d like to avoid that stress.
Is there a guide to perform the update / do-release upgrade for Ubuntu that doesn’t break NC?
This was built using a image build from Vultr - so nothing special, just their scripted install.
Hello, would like to know how you got on with the upgrade from 18.04 to 20.04? I am a relative newbie to Nextcloud. I have everything running great on a 18.04 LTS headless server. I would also like to understand what I need to do from a preparation point of view so that I can have a relatively stress free upgrade. Thank you.

I went ahead and upgraded Ubuntu 18.04 LTS to Ubuntu 20.04 LTS just now and had no problems what so ever.
