I’m planning to install the new NC18 to Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS my question is its ok or there is a downside?

Server Details:
Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS
PHP 7.3
Apache2
(all updated)

I would wait 3 months for Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.
