# This Discourse Forum does not display Nextcloud image previews

Share an image url from Nextcloud

Where is the benefit of adding the preview suffix?

Saving data?

I walk through exactly what this means in the original post. It has been a feature of Nextcloud for quite a while now, which still almost no one knows about.

You display a photo directly rather than a url. Posting the url with /preview appended should display the image (as though you’d uploaded it directly to the forum) like this:
