Hi,

Probably I have a stupid question. I made my own theme for NC and for some reason ../nextcloud/theme/my_theme/img does not seem to reflect favicons and anything in filetypes folder. I had to change them in ../nextcloud/core/img.

Am I missing something or that’s the correct behavior?

As next time I am updating the NC it will overwrite core folder.

Hi, yes that’s correct. I noticed I also had to put the favicon icon in the core folder and not the theme folder. You’re also correct in that when you do an upgrade, it will be overwritten. Seems to be a small bug. I haven’t reported it (no time) yet.
