I can successfully videochat with others and use screensharing. I’m wondering if it’s also possible to broadcast my computers audio - that is that of the shared application.
Long story short: I’ve been wondering if there is a more integrated way of watching a video (including audio) with the participants.
Browsers don’t offer that option at the moment, so it’s not possible

This is not true. Chromium based browsers allow to share video and audio of a tab. Many conferencing project supports this (bigbluebutton (browser on desktop), jitsi (browser on desktop and desktop applications), microsoft teams (browser on desktop), google meet (browser on desktop)).
