Tab.digital gets Google Safe Browsing alert

Hi,

I’m getting Safe Browsing Alerts when accessing my nextcloud hosted on tab.digital. I assume it’s a false positive, but does anyone have confirmation? Support hasn’t answered back yet.

Grouchox

Yep. Their domain/site seems to have been flagged as unsafe by Google Safe Browsing for some reason. There’s not much we can do here, since only Tab Digital, i.e. the owner of the domain/site, can fix whatever the underlying issue is and then request a review from Google to have their site removed from the list.

I mean, you could simply skip the warning and continue to the site, or disable Safe Browsing in your browser. There’s a good chance that the site isn’t actually doing anything malicious. However, we can’t know that for sure, so it’s probably better to wait for their response.

I received an answer:

We are aware of the security warning displayed by the browser. This warning was triggered because Google Safe Browsing temporarily flagged our domain as a precaution, following the misuse of a publicly accessible resource within a Nextcloud instance by a single third-party user.

Please note:
* The affected content was removed immediately
* The responsible user account was blocked
* Our systems were thoroughly checked and no malware is present
* No customer data was accessed or compromised
*Our infrastructure remains fully secure and operational

TAB.DIGITAL is an official Nextcloud Gold Partner, operating according to strict security and compliance standards.

We have already submitted a review request to Google. Based on experience, the warning is usually lifted within 24–72 hours after the review is completed.
