Synchronization doesn't work properly with a desktop client on Ubuntu

Hello,

I’m using Nextcloud with both web client, Android client and desktop linux client on Ubuntu 20.04 (Nextcloud-3.4.1-x86_64.AppImage). The desktop client doesn’t work properly.

Sometimes files which are created there get synced, sent to the server and I can see it in the other client. However there are times when I create or update a file locally on my Ubuntu and the changes aren’t sent to the server. It doesn’t happen always - some changes are synced and some are not.

I do “Force sync” and wait a couple of minutes but nothing changes afterwards, even though the desktop clients says that it’s synced. I tried it on two different machines (same system) and it’s the same.

Fixed. If you have same issue try replacing AppImage with

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nextcloud-devs/client
sudo apt install nextcloud-desktop

I had the exact same issues with my ubuntu nextclound-client but now it seems fixed after adding repository and updating nextcloud-client. Thanks!
