During a normal synce from server to desktop using client, I keep getting errors
Sorry to hear you’re facing problems
In order to help you as quickly as possible, before clicking Create Topic please provide as much of the below as you can. Feel free to use a pastebin service for logs, otherwise either indent short log examples with four spaces:
nextcloud desktop client sync with server
Or for longer, use three backticks above and below the code snippet:
Error is: Permission denied: Error transferring https://nsserver/index.php/apps/files/ - server replied: Method Not allowed.
Some or all of the below information will be requested if it isn’t supplied; for fastest response please provide as much as you can
Nextcloud version (eg, 220.127.116.11):
Operating system and version (eg, Centos 7 - 7.8.2003 (Core) x86_64):
Apache or nginx version (eg, Apache/2.4.46):
PHP version (eg, 7.3.24):
The issue you are facing:
I keep getting errors when doing a normal sync between desktop and server
Permission denied. Error Transferring https://nextcloud_server/apps/files/ - server replied Method Not aAllowed
Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Y/N):
Steps to replicate it:
**1. I just force sync and I keep getting these errors **
2. When I move or remove the directory, it goes on to the next same error
3. This started when I upgraded from 18 to 19.
4. The upgrade failed and I finished from command line. Seems like it was all OK at first.
5. Thinking that maybe I was dealing with scripts that were from both versions of NC, I moved my nextcloud/ directory and put all new programs in a new nextcloud directory, copyed my config/connfig.php and .htaccess from old directory and change the maintenance from false to true and I was able to bring up the web nextcloud, login, etc.
6. Now my occ will not work at all. I run php occ from the correct user like before and nothing comes back. For example: php occ app:list; nothing, php occ status or check and still nothing.
Did I mess things up by doing a new installation without going through all the step like a fresh install? It seemed to work.
