well as a matter of fact you shouldn’t use your admin account for your daily business. and those messages don’t really nag you with popups here and there, they only show up if you are going there by yourself.

Apart from that: have you installted 2 factor? So you should setup it correctly. If you don’t use it, I suggest to remove the whole app. It would helo getting rid of the 2nd “error”

The setup for emails is, as I think, mandatory and important to NC. so you should set up that one correctly. I, myself, see that as an “error” and not only as a notice.

Hi @JimmyKater ,
Ah, I see, so it can be uninstalled?
I just checked and couldn’t find it under “Active Apps” in the admin section. So yeah, I don’t have 2FA installed, nor a recording backend, nor SIP (I’ll use SIP once I’ve finally got my AI running on the Pi, but until then those messages are just annoying, and this is a private NC instance, but thanks for the hint anyway, my Dear ! :))

You could open a feature request on GitHub if it’s really all that important to you - my Dear  GitHub · Where software is built

I mean, I certainly wouldn’t mind if those ‘recommendational’ messages were in a separate section or could be acknowledged and then disappear to a hidden ‘acknowledged’ messages section.

On the other hand, these are mainly cosmetic issues, and since developer time is limited and Nextcloud has a lot of things to work on, I’d rather see the devs working on things that actually matter.
