I want to update nextclous 20.0.2 to latest version but when I type this command on my linux ubuntu machine
sudo -u www-data php --define apc.enable_cli=1 /var/www/nextcloud/updater/updater.phar it shows no update is available Any suggestion?
can you add -vvv
to your command?
sudo -u www-data php --define apc.enable_cli=1 /var/www/nextcloud/updater/updater.phar -vvv
It makes the output more verbose. Have you updated like this already before?
It was the same thing no update is available nothing to do.I want to make update from web I am using admin and type password thwn I go to overview and press update button it forward me to diffenent web site.Any suggestion?
Is there an update shown in the Nextcloud GUI at https://cloud.server.tld/settings/admin/overview
Also Nextcloud 20 is not supported see here.
Maybe you can better use a new installation of Nextcloud 27 instead of doing seven upgrades. You can import you old files but the other data e.g. users and shares are lost.
In the future, you should take care of upgrades about every half year. Or maybe you like to use a Managed Nextcloud for little money in the internet.
