I realize that I’m disregarding the very extensive Support intro section, but there’s a reason for that: I simply can’t get any of the requested info anymore.
I run NC in a Docker container. Today I noticed a notification saying “server has reached End of Life, please update.”, so I figured: Fine, I use Docker Compose, so I’ll just replace my current version with the latest, hit deploy, and bing bang boom we’re up and running again. Well, not so much.
So I started off with / am currently on version 23.0.3.2. I tried updating to 30.0.4, but obviously I encountered the “only one major version at a time” limitation. So I tried upgrading to version 24, but no matter what I do, I only get the following two lines in my docker log:
Initializing nextcloud 24.0.12.1 ...
Upgrading nextcloud from 23.0.3.2 ...
I even tried going back to 23.0.3.2, to at least get back up and running, but when I try that I get an error saying Error response from daemon: manifest for nextcloud:23.0.3.2 not found: manifest unknown: manifest unknown, so that’s not working either.
So yeah, I’m kinda stuck. Nothing seems to be happening, can’t go back to the original state, so what can I try next?
