The NextCloud updater is really dangerous.

I have never upgraded it successfully, even once.

Well, this time, I ran the online updater from 12.0.5, and then it ran failed and I have to run a command to turn off the maintaining mode. When I can run the updater again, It showed me “Step 5 is currently in process. Please reload this page later.”.

I tried all way I can find by the search engine, nothing worked.

HELP! HELP! HELP!

I too never managed to solve this with 20+ solutions people provided here and on GitHub. This is a very good example of an open-source project, having amazingly poor support. My question about this bug was also totally ignored by the team.
