Splash. Who uses the new version?

Hello, everyone. There is a new version of splash. But there you need to use a token from unsplash. Does anyone already use it? Where can I get that token and what does it look like?

I no longer use the app Splash because it has only caused problems for generations. Now with the token (???), the application no longer seems interesting to me.

I don’t understand why Nextcloud can’t completely rewrite the app. You could perhaps have a folder with images that are selected at random. This would give you much more flexibility with the images, you could use your own company images, you wouldn’t have to load images from a third-party source (GDPR) and you wouldn’t need an API key. In addition, customisations are rarely necessary. I think even an AI could programme this trivial code very easily. And if you could then integrate it directly into the themes in Nextcloud (individual splash folder), it would be really great. Maybe an idea for Nextcloud 31.

Update:
I wrote an issue.

To be honest, I really like the current Nextcloud 30 background image for the login page. Maybe you can simply create a new background image for each Nextcloud version. Maybe in the form of a competition like Debian artwork.
