[solved] Wrong domain for collabora, how to change?

Hello,

I specified a wrong domain name, running this command
docker run -t -d -p 127.0.0.1:9980:9980 -e ‘domain=cloud\.nextcloud\.com’ --restart always --cap-add MKNOD collabora/code
Any idea to change this?
thanks,

Eric

sudo docker ps

You will see your currently running containers. Should be something like e1a343sdafs

sudo docker stop e1a343sdafs or whatever your container ID is.

sudo docker rm e1a343sdafs or whatever your container ID is.

then re run docker run -t -d -p 127.0.0.1:9980:9980 -e ‘domain=cloud.nextcloud.com’ --restart always --cap-add MKNOD collabora/code

@oguruma don’t forget to add the \ (backslash) to the domain

domain=cloud.\nextcloud.\com

Thanks for your answers both.

  • Just a precision in the install page of nextcloud/collabora they speak about double backslashes before the dots… does it have an importance ?

  • as I couldn’t run collabora on my pi (Wich host nextcloud) I installed it on another host in my home network. Can you confirm that the best solution should be now to configure the reverse proxy on my pi and establish the link by configuring the Virtual Host with the internal address of the collabora’s host?
    Thanks,

Eric
