[SOLVED] Nextcloud talk Firefox support

Hi,

I’ve been trying to get the Talk app working in Firefox. It works in Chrome/Chromium and the mobile app on multiple Nextcloud instances I run. I cannot get it to connect in Firefox, with or without a turn server. I tried on a LAN and over the internet on multiple machines on Ubuntu 16/18 & Windows 10.with Firefox 62.

Has anyone had any success getting this working on Firefox and/or has any tips?

I found the problem, at some point Ublock Origin had set “media.peerconnection.enabled” to false. This was the case in all the three Firefox installs I tested.

Setting it to true in about:config fixed the issue :wink:
