[solved] NC on shared Webserver, as admin deaktivate Two-Factor TOTP for an user

Hi there,

(instal NextCloud on a shared webserver, have 2 users, one admin, one standard user)

problem:
the standard user has vorgotten to save his TOTP secret. How can i as the admin deaktivate the TOTP for the standard user? I cant use the occ comands, i use a shared webhoster.

What i do to solve the problem?
search the forum -> the solutions dont help at the problem.
remove the user, recreate the user -> user login -> TOTP is needed… :laughing:

Any solution?

Oh yes, you can even without ssh access. Use Occ web.

Install the Impersonate app and switch to the user in question to change the setting.
