[Solved] Ldap can't connect

Nextcloud version (eg, 12.0.2): 12.0.4
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 17.04): 16.04
Apache or nginx version (eg, Apache 2.4.25):
PHP version (eg, 7.1): PHP 7.0.22-0ubuntu0.16.04.1 (cli) ( NTS )

The issue you are facing:
Ldap can’t connect and load the user

Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Y/N): Y

Steps to replicate it:

  1. update version from 12.0.3 to 12.0.4
  2. apply the same ldap setting
  3. Nextcloud can’t load the AD user information.
  4. Old user still can login to the Nextcloud
  5. Outlook plugin can’t upload the file to the Nextcloud

HI ,

I found the reason for the Ldap problem and fixed it. But the outlook plugins is still not work and I installed the updated version still not work. Although I try a new install to a new laptop that is MS office 365 Pro plus is not work too !
It is only two icon in the Nextcloud toolbar ! And click the buttons are no response except the ‘setting’ !

what’s the problem ?

Nova

hey nova… would be nice if you could ask this in a new thread. and maybe could explain how you solved the initial problem, as well?

Jimmy :

I found I added a new Ldap setting but I didn’t finished the all setting, so the Nextcloud can’t load the account information !
