Tips for increasing the likelihood of a response

  • Use the preformatted text formatting option in the editor for all log entries and configuration output.
  • If screenshots are useful, feel free to include them.
    • If possible, also include key error output in text form so it can be searched for.
  • Try to edit log output only minimally (if at all) so that it can be ran through analyzers / formatters by those trying to help you.

How do I permanently set Background Jobs to Webcron?

How is your systems setup? You basically did not answer anything in the support template. The best and most accurate performance would be to use system cron.

And if im not mistaken. If a cron job is running in the background it will set it to cron in the settings automatically.

I’m not sure what produced this behavior but I was able to get it stick to cron.

On the docker host I now have scheduled job that calls the cronjob like so:

*/10 * * * * sudo docker exec -u www-data nextcloud php /var/www/html/cron.php
