Solr or nextant rights are wrong

Hello,

solr and nextant is working,

  • but only one user have correct search results (content of files)
  • all other user find by nextant only the filesnames, no content of files !
  • nextant can´t limited by usergroup, there is only a function by other apps (Apps+ in admin mode)

my nextcloud nextant app is install on:

/var/www/nextcloud/apps
drwxr-xr-x 13 www-data www-data 4096 Mär 11 15:52 nextant

my solr is install on:

/opt/solr
drwxr-xr-x 9 www-data www-data 4096 Apr 24 17:19 solr-6.5.0

what is wrong in my installation?

That’s exactly what I also have: But for all users.

Perhaps the same issue … hmmm wrong rights somewhere???

at sample, for retest and check for forum-users (to understand the issue) :slight_smile:

  • i am log in the nextcloud by browser (sample user thomas)
  • seaching for “worksta”
  • result the 2 About.odt and About.txt in the folder Documents

… in is the result of only one user, when i log -out and log in with a other user (sample user klaus)

  • seaching for “worksta”
  • no result !!! - but 2 files, About.odt and About.txt in the folder Documents is for this user existing too !

what is the issue

It is not about rights, but I am curious of your authentication system, can you give me more details about your cloud and its app ?

  • server = ubuntu 16.04
  • nextcloud 10.0.4
  • solr 6.5.0
  • nextant 1.0.3

rights & install-path see thread on top.
curious is one user with all function is the admin, and the same name is first user from ubuntu-server (no root, only sudo)

Install method, is same as : "Prolinux > Kurztips … external Link to pro-linux.de

Why not using the last version of Nextant ?

In Version 11 Amy Apps die not Work correct
Mail not work with all IMAP Accounts​
Gpx maps so not quickly load
Notes serverapp Crashs on Smartphone

In 10.0.4 working apps good

Can you still try the last version Nextant on your Nextcloud 10.0.4 ?

the nextant app in (admin/+apps) show no updates !

if i look in aps.nextcloud i see nextant 1.0.8 is the last version, but for test a have install manuel.
But same result !

And in the console a have by nextant 1.0.8 any error messages :

  • I have it roll back to nextant 1.0.3, and the errors solved.

This error seems to be related to your Solr install, have you followed the documentation from the wiki ?
