[snap] How should I attach external storage to NC?

Hello. I am following this guide: Change data directory to use another disk partition · nextcloud-snap/nextcloud-snap Wiki · GitHub to attach NFS share which is mounted to my Ubuntu VM to NC which was installed via snap
After completing all the steps from section “If you have already created an admin user” I am getting the following error message:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator if this error reappears multiple times, please include the technical details below in your report.
More details can be found in the server log.

What logs should I search for in order to troubleshoot this? I am a first timer with NC, and honestly it’s way too overwhelming to attach a single folder to this app.

Should I ditch this guide and use the external storage app instead? Because I tried with it as well earlier, and it was missing permissions to write on the NFS mounted folder, although I did everything as per documentation. I am aware that with snap, folder owners should not be www-data but root

In the case of snap the user is root and in case of permissions on external storage in nextcloud I recommend keeping the unit with fstab following the model below

UUID=089342544239044F /mnt/Multimidia ntfs-3g utf8,uid=root,gid=root,umask=0007,noatime,x-gvfs-show 0 0```

I forgot to include it here, but I solved my issue with enabling this module:

sudo snap connect nextcloud:removable-media
