Apache or nginx version (eg, Apache 2.4.25): Apache2
PHP version (eg, 7.1): Php 7.0

The issue you are facing:

Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Y/N): Yes

Steps to replicate it:

Hello
When I upload or download a file I download at 600 Kb / s.
I have this flow in all cases:
Downloading file via samba or directly from my Debian machine
Same for the upload

Test speedtest: 200 mb / s (so good local / wan rate)

I’m running debian 9, apache2, php 7.0 and Redis.
I am a Linux noob.
Everything works except that.
Could you help me?
If you have any information to ask me, I can give it to you.

  1. You probably won’t get the speed you obtain with SMB or SFTP. However, it should be much faster than 600 kB/s.
  2. You need to find the bottle neck and do some optimizations. Monitor your server during the up- or download, do certain processes peak the cpu or RAM? i/o-wait is often slowing down processes if the database cache is not optimized.

I haven’t tested in local networks and its hard to compare different environments, but more than 10 MB/s should be possible.

Hello, I solved my problem. Enfaite I downloaded with my domain name when I was in “local”. In local it is necessary to download in Ipv4. Outside, with the domain name. There is no problem doing this :). Have a good day,
