The issue you are facing: I just upgraded from 21.0.something_or_other to 22.2.0, and the sidebar is now covering up part of the content of the current app for mail, deck, calendar, contacts, etc. Was this an intentional change? I admit I haven’t read every NC22 version release notes, as I had no plans to upgrade until all my apps were upgraded to support it. I assume this change is intended to improve the experience on phone screens, but why can we not have a setting to adjust this behaviour?
Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Y/N): Yes
Steps to replicate it:
- Open deck, mail, contacts, etc in a window on a screen aligned in portrait mode.
- Click on the three bars to open the sidebar (which can be pretty hard to spot at times)
- Sidebar opens and contents are not resized to the remaining space, but covered up. This entirely covers most names in Contacts, the left-most list in Deck, the first two days in the Calendar week view
