Custom TURN server configured: no
Custom STUN server configured: no
In case the web version of Nextcloud Talk is involved:
Operating system (eg, Windows/Ubuntu.): Ubuntu Linux 5.15.0-118-generic x86_64
Browser name and version (eg, Chrome v101): Firefox 129
The issue you are facing:
I create a new conversation and start to show my cam and to enable my microphone.
I share the conversation URL to a guest who join the conversation but not the video call. The guest can see only the chat.
There is a way to let guest see and hear the videocall without a microphone and cam? Can this feature be requested for the future if is not supported?
Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Y/N): yes
Steps to replicate it:
- create a conversation and start cam and microphone
- share the URL to a guest and join just with the link and inserting the nickname
- the text chat is visible not the videocall. User cannot join the button to call because has no cam and microphone and cannot see the videocall.
