How is it possible to share password-protected links with users who are internally created as users?

I don’t think it is possible and to be honest I don’t get the point of additional password protection when sharing with authenticated users.
To access the system authenticated user already must provide kind of credential (hopefully secure enough). another password would only make sense in case you share with many users but only few of them should have access to the file… but in this case the share process is likely wrong and you should narrow the sharing scope to right audience. but at the end it becomes more or less to the same as when you create external share with password - you still can send the link to internal users…
