The issue you are facing:

I am unable to add and or remove files and or directories from either the desktop connection or the online NextCloud. I have set all permissions in the NextCloud directory to 777 and still no success.

Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Y/N): No, having issue with OwnCloud as well.

Steps to replicate it:

  1. Install fresh NextCloud under root folder on shared hosting, ./nextcloud
  2. Get everything installed and login and unable to create and or remove files as admin
  3. Do not have root access since being a shared hosting service.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
