Shared Notes not visible in Notes app

Hi,

I’m running Nextcloud AIO (v31.0.8) with Nextcloud Notes v4.12.3.

I created a note in the Nextcloud Notes app and shared it with an internal user, giving them edit permissions.
My expectation was that this shared note would also appear in the Notes app for the other user (both in the web interface and in the Android Nextcloud Notes app).

However, the shared user only sees it as a shared file, not as a note inside their Notes app.
This makes the sharing option in Notes somewhat pointless for collaboration, because the note doesn’t show up in their list of notes.

Is this behavior intentional (by design), or is it a bug / missing feature?
I would really appreciate some clarification on this.

If this is not the right place to ask, could you advise me where to report or discuss this (e.g. GitHub issue tracker for Notes)?

I haven’t found a way to open them in the note app either.
