The issue you are facing:
Whenever I share folders between my account and my wife’s account they don’t sync with her client. SHe is running OSX with the latest nextcloud client. I am running a Linux desktop and the nextcloud server is running as docker container on an Unraid 6.7.2 Server.
The problem specifically is, that whenever I want to share a folder with her, her client doesn’t pick it up. Logging into her account via the web interface shows the shared folders and she can create and edit documents in that folder. Those changes are than synced with my client.
The problem thus is not with the nextcloud server but with her client software. It seems to not sync shared folders–selective sync also doesn’t show any of the shared folders. The linux client for Pop OS/Ubuntu however does.
Is there a limitation in the OSX client software that can’t handle shared folders?
