I have just installed nextcloud with a 1TB HDD, however with no files loaded yet in the disc information section of settings/system there are numbers 341, next line 4 then Free space=86GB
What has happened to the rest of the capacity on this disk?

Depending on your system, witch we don’t know anything, the only logical guess is the partitioning of your disk who might be the problem…

I installed an ubuntu server and ticked the option for nextcloud. It was a new 2T HDD and as far as I understood was not partitioned. So I will start again, reformat the drive and partition it with one partition then try again. many thanks for your response
