Search landing one folder too high

Nextcloud version (eg, 18.0.2): 20.0.2
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 20.04): docker over Debian 10.6
Apache or nginx version (eg, Apache 2.4.25): docker build
PHP version (eg, 7.1): docker build

The issue you are facing:

When searching for a folder, clicking on the folder lands you in the folder containing the folder you selected. In previous NC versions, clicking the folder would open that folder directly–which was great when you have a folder with a huge scrolling list of files/subfolders. The current functionality is way less useful. Is there a way to restore the previous functionality?

Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Y/N): N, came up in 20.0

Steps to replicate it:

  1. create a folder hierarchy (say, /Folder1/Folder2/Folder3)
  2. search for Folder3.
  3. Click Folder3 in the search results. You get navigated to Folder2, i.e. the folder containg Folder3, rather than Folder3 as previous.

Same issue here after upgrading to NC 20. It’s not that big of a deal, but I have had a few users complain about the added step when searching. The complaint is when performing many searches the extra step is adding up and is annoying.
